My musicianship
My class sessions are enhanced by the application of musical contents through a variety of classroom instruments, rhythm sticks, bongos, handbells, glockenspiel, rainbow, guiro, recorder, guitar, piano, keyboard, maracas, and many more.
Students with or without any musical inclination come out my class with a well-rounded ideas of the role of music in real life. The basic knowledge acquired is that music is everywhere, and that it is the fabric of all other academic disciplines.
Music Literacy
Music literacy is the template for all other form of literacies. The framework of that leads to musicianship is second to none other academic discipline. its systematic organization is the source of every organized intellectual inquiry. Thus the adage, music is divine.
The level mental process required to decipher a music manuscript is the reason why most musicians are called virtuosi. Many stakeholders always look for candidates with musical background becuase they are keenly aware that many of their expectations can only be met by individuals with a musical background.
